Britons are keen on wireless technology and believe it will help them work from home, a study has suggested.
Printer company Lexmark UK said: "Our research has spotted a trend among home technology users that will soon lead to a watershed moment in our attitudes to home working.
"Almost 50 per cent of the UK cited wireless as the technology set to improve productivity the most in the next five years."
Using wireless technology can help give workers more flexibility and mobility, according to eight out of ten Britons asked.
According to Lexmark, this freedom of working wherever an employee wishes is set to be "the next must-have computer accessory".
Home workers can keep in touch with the office by using internet phone services, such as those offered by industry leader
Vonage, allowing
low cost calls in the UK and Ireland from just £5.99 a month.
