West Brom score with internet telephony

West Brom score with internet telephonyWest Bromwich Albion may be pushing for a return to the Premier League, but their communications system has already been promoted to use internet telephony.

With the football club having linked up its stadium with the training ground, it hopes to make savings on call costs and on maintenance of their communications systems.

Now getting in contact with other members of West Brom is free at the club's two sites, with calls being routed over the internet rather than traditional phone systems.

But a major benefit for West Brom is that their system should now be better equipped to cope with the busier days when match day tickets go on sale.

The scalability of VoIP systems allows more lines to be added if needed without having to install any new physical wires, meaning that West Brom can organise more people to answer calls when necessary, but not pay for unused lines at less hectic times.

Internet phone services from Vonage can provide unlimited free calls across the UK and Ireland for £5.99 a month on V-Plan 1, while this can be expanded across up to 25 countries for a monthly £9.99 fee on V-Plan 3.ADNFCR-1208-ID-18379402-ADNFCR
