Small and medium sized businesses enterprises (SMEs) should look to take advantage of the cheap calls offered by
VoIP services, according to one analyst.
Writing in Computer Weekly, Steve Broadhead argues that the optimisation offered by internet communications services such as
VoIP and video conferencing does not only target large businesses.
Increasingly, SMEs are finding that such services benefit their businesses as well, with
VoIP and video-conferencing touted as increasingly desirable, Mr Broadhead asserts.
He argues that the most important considerations when choosing to adopt such services are performance, reliability, flexibility and user control, adding that SMEs must particularly consider the latter when deciding which package to use.
Mr Broadhead's comments are echoed elsewhere in CRN Tech magazine, with one commentator arguing that "the increasing availability of
VoIP products specifically targeting small businesses means it's easier than ever for channel partners to design a solution that fits customers' needs".
Vonage offers
